IPP residences are managed by SAS.IPP through internal regulations that stipulate the conditions for entry and use of equipment, as well as rules for internal discipline and student participation in the respective management, conservation and cleaning. They have study and leisure areas and the typology varies between single, double or triple rooms.

The Social Action Services of the University of Porto have, in the three University Centers, 9 University Residences with a capacity to accommodate 1192 students.
